These frog earrings are made from Black Walnut shells by slicing the tree nut. I call them my singing frogs. They are green with white eyes and a red tongue. They are available in hook or post styles for the same price. The clip on style is $15.25.
The nuts are gathered every fall from my many Black Walnut trees on my property. After they are cleaned and dried, I let them cure for about 3 more weeks before I cut them into various shapes to make the earrings you see here.
