Midwest Magnolia Note Card

This note card is from the watercolor painting Midwest Magnolia by Kristine Plum.  It is 4 1/2″ x 6 1/4″ and comes with white A-6 size envelopes.  The cards have a black border and are blank inside.  The painting is named “Midwest Magnolia” because it is the variety Saucer Magnolia which is much smaller than the Southern Magnolia, Magnolia Grandiflora.  The saucer magnolia also has violet on the underside of it’s 9 petals.  The Saucer Magnolia is also called “tulip tree” by many people not to confuse it with the Southern Magnolia.  The Saucer Magnolia grows about 20 feet tall.
